8 Days Magical of Ngorongoro & Serengeti Luxury Holiday

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8 am and take you to a very special national park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

Breakfast at Oliver’s Camp, at 0730hrs depart for a morning game drives in Tarangire, transfer to Tarangire Kuro airstrip for your flight departs for Serengeti at 1130hrs and arrive in Serengeti at Seronera airstrip at 1215hrs. Meet by your guide and continue with afternoon gane drives in Serengeti.

The Serengeti is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Within its 15,000 sq km area it hosts 3 million large mammals. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here. And so for the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is the staging zone for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds. You will have dinner and overnight at Camp.

breakfast at your camp, spend TWO more days exploring the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes including the abundant impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. As for Big Cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings having been filmed in this park. Smaller animals like foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, rock hyrax, and African hares, together with more than 500 species of birds, also inhabit this park.

We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time.

At 0500hrs you will be collected from the lodge in Serengeti and transfer you to the Maasai Copjes, here you will meet your pilot for briefing and watch of your balloon. Pick p and drop off at Seronera Information Center

At dawn the balloon takes off, rising as the sun rises and floats in whichever direction the winds of the morning takes it. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon; sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife bellow.

The flight is for about one hour aerial game viewing depending on conditions, and eventually you might land. You celebrate in the traditional manner with champagne (well, an excellent sparking wine) before sitting down to a full English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in out of Africa style with bone china, linen table cloths, kings silver etc.

After BUSH breakfast you receive your Serengeti Balloon Certificate continue with a morning game drives in Serengeti towards the Naabi exit gate onwards to Ngorongoro Conservation for lunch.

. At 1500hrs launch a walking trip for about 3km on one side of the Crater rim enjoying the scenery of the Ngorongoro highlands accompaned by an armed ranger guide. After the walk, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. You will reach Ngorongoro in time for a sundowner.

Today we make an early descend into the crater floor with breakfast box for an incredible morning game drives. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The concentration of African wildlife if the greatest in the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. This is due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. Your guide will advice whether you will also take picnic box lunches for a full day drives in the Crater, or you will do a half day Crater tour and return to camp for hot lunch, then spend the rest of the day at leisure, sighing the bush with your eyes powered by binoculars.

Breakfast in Ngorongoro, The Highlands Camp, at 0800hrs check our and transfer back to Arusha for lunch. later transfer to Airport, and this will be the end of tour.
