9 Days Tanzania wildlife safari & Zanzibar tour

– Breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, at 0800hrs pick up and travel to two hours on good road to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch boxes for a morning and an afternoon game drives. Your professional driver who is also your tour guide will do his best and make sure you enjoy the best service, showing you wild things as much as what the park offers.

At 1300hrs after your picnic lunch is served, you go continue with afternoon game drives in the park. In this Wildlife area, expect to see animals such as Lion, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, hyena, eland, kudu, Cheetah, warthog, Blue and Vervet monkey, and more… About 450 species of birds have been recorded, although Tarangire park is famous for herds of Elephant but also you will see HUGE baobab trees. Early morning after breakfast, depart towards the Ngorongoro with breath-taking views of the rising sun over the crater’s edge, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO world heritage site formed millions of years ago is 610 m deep and covers roughly around 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In a matter of minutes, you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass.

Depart with your picnic lunch boxes for Serengeti National Park. Making a game driving on the Serengeti plains, searching for the migration, the largest concentration of plains game (wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle) to be found anywhere in the world. Also the predators (lion and cheetah) and the scavengers (hyena and jackals) together with the elephant, buffalo, giraffe, warthog and many other species of both big and small game. Enjoy your game drive with your private jeep till late evening

The entire day is set aside for more game drives in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the long rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. Apart from the migrating herds, you might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always lurking close by.

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. It’s really one of the most beautiful experiences to have. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll proceed to the airstrip for your flight your next amazing destination: Zanzibar. Alternatively, instead of this early morning game drive, you may choose to stay at the camp for a bit of relaxation.

You can take some rest and enjoy this paradise made of beautiful beaches of white sand and turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. There is a possibility of extra activities such as a Day Tour in Stone Town (includes Old Town guided tour, Spice Tour and Prison Island – lunch not included), Half Day Tour (includes Old Town guided tour or Spice Tour or Prison Island). Another suggestion is the Jozani Forest tour (lunch not included).
